WELCOME TO THE TEAM!!

We’re so excited to have you here!
Your journey is just beginning, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome you into our space. You were chosen for a reason, and we can’t wait to see your growth, talent, and personality shine.

Before you get started, here’s what you need to know:

  • Please park in the side lot to your right as you pull in. This is our designated employee parking area.

  • You’ll clock in when you arrive and clock out when you leave and during your lunch break.

Use the Clock In/Out button on the left-hand side of our main computers.
    Don’t stress—we’ll show you how!

You will have to enter in your 4 didgit Phorest code to do this. If you have not set one up yet, don’t worry! We will get that taken care of your first day.

  • You are allotted a 30-minute lunch break each day.

You’re welcome to leave during your break, but you must be clocked back in within the 30-minute window. Be sure to clock out when leaving and clock back in upon return.

During free time, we expect new team members to be:

    • Shadowing your designated mentor

    • Assisting the front desk

    • Working on the downtime task list

We don’t allow phone use or sitting in the back during the day—there’s always something to do, especially in the beginning when you’re still learning!

  • We work in a fashion-forward, professional environment, and your appearance should reflect the standard we uphold.

Allowed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only:

    • Jeans (no excessive rips or frays, and no jean shorts)

    Always unacceptable:

    • Exposed butts, boobs, or bellies

    • Backless tops

    • Offensive or inappropriate graphics (drugs, guns, politics, etc.)

    • Sweatpants, hoodies, cheap flip flops

    Every day expectations:

    • Hair and makeup done

    • Professional, stylish, and clean appearance

    • Clean, comfortable shoes (yes, sneakers are okay if they’re presentable)

Dress like the paycheck you want to earn. Your appearance is part of your brand!

  • Your first few weeks will be filled with new information. It may feel overwhelming at times—that’s normal!
Everything will start to click with time, so don’t get discouraged.

    Bring:

    • A dedicated notebook for training

    • A pen

    • A positive, open-minded attitude

  • We know it can feel nerve-wracking walking in on your first day—like all eyes are on you. We promise, that couldn’t be further from the truth.

We pride ourselves on being welcoming, inclusive, and passionate about growth. We have a zero-tolerance policy for gossip and drama, and our entire team helps uphold that standard so you can feel safe and supported.

Please bring that same energy. A smile goes a long way. Once you get to know everyone, we’re confident you’ll love it here. Our team is phenomenal at uplifting and encouraging one another to be the best versions of ourselves.

  • Phone use should be limited to breaks or emergencies. Phones should only be used in the break room and NEVER at the front desk or on the salon floor.

We LOVE when our team posts their work—just make sure clients are comfortable with being photographed and always tag the salon when sharing your magic!

  • Need towels? Wondering where something goes?

Ask away! We’ve all been new before and no one expects you to know everything on day one.

A team member will help show you the ropes—where to find supplies, how we clean stations, and everything in between.

If you have any questions before your first day (or anytime after), don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here for you!
