We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barber to join our barbershop team. As a Barber at Bello, you will have the opportunity to showcase your exceptional barbering techniques and learn new services and skills. You'll be an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to creating an unparalleled grooming experience for our valued clientele. QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Valid barbering license in Iowa

  • Friendly personality, but also professional.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to actively listen to clients' needs and provide clear, concise, and friendly explanations of services.

  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating lasting positive impressions.

  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively and maintain a harmonious work environment.

  • Available on Saturdays and 2 nights

  • Proactive problem solver

  • Willingness to learn

This position is Full Time and includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality barbering services, including haircuts, styling, shaving, and grooming treatments, tailored to the preferences of our diverse clientele.

  • Demonstrate outstanding communication skills to consult with clients and offer personalized recommendations.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work station.

  • Collaborate seamlessly with fellow barbers and staff members to maintain a cohesive and positive team-based work environment.

  • Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring minimal wait times for clients while maintaining service excellence.

  • Uphold the barbershop's reputation by consistently delivering impeccable services that exceed client expectations.

  • Actively engage in upselling and cross-selling services and products to enhance the overall client experience.
